     Count Hubert de Stacpoole was the son of Richard Fitzgeorge de Stacpoole, 1st Duc de Stacpoole and Elizabeth Tulloch.2 He married Margaret Mary Stapleton, daughter of Rev. Hon. Sir Francis Jarvis Stapleton, 7th Bt. and Margaret Airey, on 18 August 1866.3 He died on 26 July 1868 at France.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 20th Regiment (Lancashire Fusiliers.)3
