     Dr. William McFarlane of that Ilk married Christian Dewar, son of James Dewar, 1st of Vogrie and Janet Johnston, on 11 December 1729.¹ He died on 5 January 1767.¹
     He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He had a son and three daughters.¹

     Sir Anthony Hugh Dewey, 3rd Bt. was born on 31 July 1921.¹ He was the son of Major Hugh Grahame Dewey and Marjorie Florence Isobel Dodds.² He married Sylvia Jacqueline Rosamund MacMahon, daughter of John Ross MacMahon and Emily Marshall, on 22 April 1949.¹ He died on 20 March 2016 at age 94.³
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the North Somerset Yeomanry.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Dewey, of South Hill Wood, Bromley, Kent [U.K., 1917] in January 1948.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset in 1961.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Rag, Galhampton, Yeovil, Somerset, England^G.¹

     John Ross MacMahon married Emily Marshall, daughter of William Wilkinson Marshall.¹
     He lived at Branksome Manor, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Surgery (C.M.)¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹

     Sylvia Jacqueline Rosamund MacMahon was born in 1922.² She was the daughter of John Ross MacMahon and Emily Marshall.^3,1 She married Sir Anthony Hugh Dewey, 3rd Bt., son of Major Hugh Grahame Dewey and Marjorie Florence Isobel Dodds, on 22 April 1949.¹ She died on 12 August 2021.²
     From 22 April 1949, her married name became Dewey.

     Sir Rupert Grahame Dewey, 4th Bt. was born on 29 March 1953.¹ He is the son of Sir Anthony Hugh Dewey, 3rd Bt. and Sylvia Jacqueline Rosamund MacMahon.² He married Suzanne Rosemary Lusk, daughter of Andrew Lusk, on 23 November 1978.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was a practising solicitor.¹ He lived in 2003 at Church Farm House, Wellow, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Dewey, of South Hill Wood, Bromley, Kent [U.K., 1917] on 20 March 2016.

     Andrew Lusk lived at Fordie, Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Suzanne Rosemary Lusk is the daughter of Andrew Lusk.² She married Sir Rupert Grahame Dewey, 4th Bt., son of Sir Anthony Hugh Dewey, 3rd Bt. and Sylvia Jacqueline Rosamund MacMahon, on 23 November 1978.¹
     From 23 November 1978, her married name became Dewey.
