     Mary Playfair was the daughter of Patrick Playfair and Jean Playfair.² She married Reverend Patrick Fairbairn, son of John Fairbairn and Jessie Johnston, on 23 July 1839.^1,2 She died on 9 December 1852.²

     Patrick Playfair was born in 1765.¹ He married Jean Playfair, daughter of Reverend James Playfair and Margaret Lyon.

     Raphael Tuck was born on 7 August 1821 at Kozmin, Poland^G.^1,2 He was the son of Elias Tuch and Rachel Bronca Soares.³ He married Ernestine Lissner, daughter of David Lissner, in March 1848 at Prussia^G.^1,2 He died on 16 March 1900 at age 78 at 19 Balfour Road, Highbury, London, England^G.^1,2
     He was given the name of Raphael Tuch at birth.⁴ He was founder of Raphael Tuck & Sons, fine art publishers.¹ He lived at Highbury, London, England^G.¹

     Major Gavin Campbell Anderson is the son of Stuart Bullen Anderson.¹ He married Miriam Dominica Browne, daughter of Brigadier Dominick Andrew Sidney Browne and Iris Kathleen Deane, on 14 April 1953.¹ He and Miriam Dominica Browne were divorced in 1964.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.¹
