     William Colvill was born on 6 December 1737.¹ He was the son of William Colvill and Jane Thompson.² He married Hannah Chaigneau, daughter of John Chaigneau, on 18 June 1777.¹ He died on 5 July 1820 at age 82.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtownlimavady.¹

     Hannah Chaigneau was the daughter of John Chaigneau.¹ She married William Colvill, son of William Colvill and Jane Thompson, on 18 June 1777.¹ She died in 1838.¹
     From 18 June 1777, her married name became Colvill.

     Edward Colvill was the son of William Colvill and Hannah Chaigneau.² He died in 1781, in infancy.¹

     John Thompson Colvill was the son of William Colvill and Hannah Chaigneau.² He died in 1789, in infancy.¹

     Susanna Colvill was born in 1778.¹ She was the daughter of William Colvill and Hannah Chaigneau.² She died in 1840, without issue.¹

     Margaretta Colvill was born in 1783.¹ She was the daughter of William Colvill and Hannah Chaigneau.² She died in 1851, without issue.¹

     Hannah Colvill was born in 1785.¹ She was the daughter of William Colvill and Hannah Chaigneau.² She married Reverend T. Harper in 1815.¹
     From 1815, her married name became Harper.

     Reverend T. Harper married Hannah Colvill, daughter of William Colvill and Hannah Chaigneau, in 1815.¹
     He lived at Monart, County Wexford, Ireland^G.¹

     Arabelle Colvill was the daughter of William Colvill and Hannah Chaigneau.² She died in 1787, in infancy.¹
