     Lt.-Col. Arthur Edward Irving Belcher was the son of Arthur Herbert Belcher.² He married Mary Doreen Cooke-Collis, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Cooke-Collis and Elizabeth Marion Shrubsole Cunliffe, on 25 April 1922.¹ He died on 28 February 1956.¹

     From 4 April 1949, her married name became Blacklay. She lived in 1976 at 9 Wisterdale Close, Wistarton, Crewe, Sussex, England^G.¹
