     James Charles Coffey was born on 24 December 1815.¹ He was the son of Edmund Coffey and Phyllis O’Connell.² He married Anna Maria Wilkinson, daughter of George Wilkinson, in 1841.¹ He died on 31 July 1880 at age 64.¹
     He was admitted to King’s Inn in 1843 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He held the office of County Court Judge.¹ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1864.¹

     John William Coffey was born on 17 June 1821.¹ He was the son of Edmund Coffey and Phyllis O’Connell.² He married, secondly, unknown daughter Byrne, daughter of Peter Byrne.¹ He married, firstly, Sydney Margaret Pearson, daughter of John Pearson, on 1 May 1854.¹

     John Pearson Coffey was born in 1855.¹ He was the son of John William Coffey and Sydney Margaret Pearson.^2,1 He died in 1869.¹

     Edward Lees Coffey was born in May 1857.¹ He was the son of John William Coffey and Sydney Margaret Pearson.^2,1 He died in 1941, unmarried.¹

     Phillis Mary Coffey was born on 28 February 1858.¹ She was the daughter of John William Coffey and Sydney Margaret Pearson.^2,1 She married Sir John Vincent O’Neill Lentaigne, son of Rt. Hon. Sir John Francis O’Neill Lentaigne and Mary Magan, on 20 February 1882.¹ She died on 12 December 1893 at age 35.¹
     From 20 February 1882, her married name became Lentaigne.

     Rt. Hon. Sir John Francis O’Neill Lentaigne was born circa 1802.² He married Mary Magan, daughter of Francis Magan and Margaret Strong Hussey, on 13 September 1841.³ He died on 12 November 1886.² He was buried at Glasnevin Cemetery, Glasnevin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.²
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)³ He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Monaghan in 1844.³ He was member of the Convicts Prisons Board of Ireland after 1854.² He was Inspector-General of Prisons between 1854 and 1877.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Monaghan.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was president of the Statistical and Social Inquiry Society of Ireland.² He was Commissioner of National Education.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Mongahan.³

     Sir John Vincent O’Neill Lentaigne was born on 19 July 1855.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir John Francis O’Neill Lentaigne and Mary Magan.² He married Phillis Mary Coffey, daughter of John William Coffey and Sydney Margaret Pearson, on 20 February 1882.¹ He died on 30 March 1915 at age 59.²
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (F.R.C.S.I.)¹ LKCQPI.¹

     unknown daughter Byrne is the daughter of Peter Byrne.² She married John William Coffey, son of Edmund Coffey and Phyllis O’Connell.¹
     Her married name became Coffey.
