Rear-Admiral Lord John Hay1

     Rear-Admiral Lord John Hay was born on 1 April 1793.2 He was the son of George Hay, 7th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Hannah Charlotte Maitland.2 He married Mary Anne Cameron, daughter of Donald Cameron of Lochiel, 22nd Chief of Clan Cameron and Hon. Anne Abercromby, on 2 September 1846.1 He died on 26 August 1851 at age 58.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Haddington between 1826 and 1830.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.)2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2 He was awarded the Knight Grand Cross, Order of Charles III of Spain.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor in 1847.2 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.2

Anne Abercromby.2 She married Rear-Admiral Lord John Hay, son of George Hay, 7th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Hannah Charlotte Maitland, on 2 September 1846.1 She died on 30 November 1850, without issue.1
     From 2 September 1846, her married name became Hay.

Harriet Kinloch1

     Harriet Kinloch was the daughter of Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 8th Bt. and Isabella Stowe.2 She married Reverend Lord Thomas Hay, son of George Hay, 7th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Hannah Charlotte Maitland, on 29 August 1833.1 She died on 24 January 1891.1
     Her married name became Hay.

Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 8th Bt.1

     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Kinloch, of Gilmerton [N.S., 1686] in 1800.1

     Isabella Stowe was born circa 1773 at Ryton, County Durham, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of John Stowe. She married Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 8th Bt., son of Sir David Kinloch of Gilmerton, 5th Bt. and Harriet Cockburn, on 20 June 1801.2 She died on 10 March 1861 at Nice, FranceG.1
     She lived Newton.2 She was Lincolnshire.2 Her married name became Kinloch.
