     He was educated at St. Edward’s School, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ ) He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He was with ICI in 1951.¹ He lived in 1976 at Osbaston House, Monmouth, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.¹

     Air Chief Marshal Sir William Alec Coryton is the son of William Coryton and Evelyn Annie Parker.³
     He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹ He lived at Two Leas, Langton Matravers, Dorset, England^G.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Flavia Dorothea Coryton was the daughter of Air Chief Marshal Sir William Alec Coryton.² She married Michael John Marshal Clarke, son of Admiral Sir Marshal Llewelyn Clarke and Ina Leonora Edwards, on 4 November 1954.¹ She died on 12 August 2015.³
     From 4 November 1954, her married name became Clarke.

     Julian Marshal Clarke was born on 12 May 1958.¹ He is the son of Michael John Marshal Clarke and Flavia Dorothea Coryton.²

     Emily Sarah Clarke was born on 17 November 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Michael John Marshal Clarke and Flavia Dorothea Coryton.²

     Brian Lloyd Clarke was born on 30 September 1888.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Marshal James Clarke and Annie Stacy Lloyd.^2,1 He was also reported to have died killed in action on 19 April 1915.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Elizabeth Clarke was born on 17 June 1885.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Marshal James Clarke and Annie Stacy Lloyd.^2,1 She died on 26 July 1952 at age 67, unmarried.¹

     William Clarke was the son of Reverend Mark Clarke and Maria Hill.² He died in 1900, unmarried.¹
     He emigrated to New Zealand^G.¹

     Eliza Clarke was the daughter of Reverend Mark Clarke and Maria Hill.² She married Edward Falconer Litton, son of Daniel Litton and Jane Minchin, on 5 March 1861.¹ She died in January 1873.¹
     From 5 March 1861, her married name became Litton.

     Edward Falconer Litton was born in 1827.² He was the son of Daniel Litton and Jane Minchin.² He married Bridget Elizabeth Tuthill, daughter of Christopher Tuthill and Grace Reeves.³ He married Eliza Clarke, daughter of Reverend Mark Clarke and Maria Hill, on 5 March 1861.¹ He died on 27 November 1890.¹
     He lived at Ardavilling, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Judge of County Court.⁴ He lived at Valclusa, Enniskerry, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.⁴ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹
