     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the The Rifle Brigade.¹ He served on the staff of the Governor-General of Canada.¹

     Reverend Henry Dawson was born on 27 April 1821.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. George Robert Dawson and Mary Peel.² He married Anne Dimsdale, daughter of Thomas Robert Dimsdale, 4th Baron Dimsdale, on 21 September 1848.¹ He died on 10 January 1863 at age 41, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was the Rector at Great Munden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Thomas Robert Dimsdale, 4th Baron Dimsdale was born on 12 August 1796.² He was the son of Robert Dimsdale, 3rd Baron Dimsdale. He died on 21 November 1865 at age 69, without surviving male issue.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Meesden Manor, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Camfield Place, Hertfordshire, England.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He gained the title of 4th Baron Dimsdale [Russia, 1769].

     Anne Dimsdale was the daughter of Thomas Robert Dimsdale, 4th Baron Dimsdale.² She married Reverend Henry Dawson, son of Rt. Hon. George Robert Dawson and Mary Peel, on 21 September 1848.¹ She died on 22 April 1902.¹
     From 21 September 1848, her married name became Dawson.

     Francis Alexander Dawson was born on 26 April 1823.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. George Robert Dawson and Mary Peel.² He married Caroline Agnes Harrop, daughter of Jonah Harrop, on 9 May 1884.¹ He died on 2 April 1879 at age 55.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Oxford Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He lived at Thurnby House, Leicestershire, England^G.¹ He had three sons and two daughters.³

     Jonah Harrop held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Bardsley House, Ashton-under-Lyne, Cheshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Gatten House, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Caroline Agnes Harrop was the daughter of Jonah Harrop.² She married Francis Alexander Dawson, son of Rt. Hon. George Robert Dawson and Mary Peel, on 9 May 1884.¹ She died on 6 February 1903.¹
     From 9 May 1884, her married name became Dawson.

     Frederick Dawson was born on 11 July 1824.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. George Robert Dawson and Mary Peel.² He died, unmarried.³
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1860 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Elizabeth Anne Chambers married, secondly, Charles Lambert, son of Walter Peter Lambert and Ellen Tubbs.¹ She married, firstly, James Mahon.¹ She died on 13 September 1831.²
     Her married name became Mahon.¹ Her married name became Lambert.¹

     Hon. Mary Elizabeth Brownlow was the daughter of Charles Brownlow, 1st Baron Lurgan and Lady Mary Bligh.^2,3 She married Colonel Robert Peel Dawson, son of Rt. Hon. George Robert Dawson and Mary Peel, on 8 May 1848.¹ She died on 30 July 1888.¹
     From 8 May 1848, her married name became Dawson.
