     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Army Pay Corps.¹ He was a stockbroker.¹ He lived at Clougheen, 61 Bridge Street, Kilrea, Coleraine, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.¹

     Minnie Scoone Lathom Lockart married John Courtenay Clark, son of John Henry Clark and Mary Violet Moore, on 14 January 1942.¹ She died on 17 March 1950.¹
     She lived at Birkenhead, Cheshire, England^G.¹ From 14 January 1942, her married name became Clark.

     Simon Newport Clark was born on 21 May 1867.¹ He was the son of William Clark and Marianne Elizabeth Paul Newport.² He married Maude Hackett, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Hackett and Harriet Taylor Watkins.¹ He died on 6 February 1937 at age 69 at Bristol, England^G.^1,3

     Maj.-Gen. John Hackett was born on 2 October 1819.² He was the son of Vice-Admiral John Hackett.² He married Harriet Taylor Watkins.² He died on 1 November 1890 at age 71 at West Brompton, London, England^G.²
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Rye Brook Hall, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Maude Hackett was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Hackett and Harriet Taylor Watkins.^2,3 She married Simon Newport Clark, son of William Clark and Marianne Elizabeth Paul Newport.¹ She died in 1935 at Australia^G.¹
     Her married name became Clark.

     Newport Clark was the son of Simon Newport Clark and Maude Hackett.² He died in 1930 at Australia^G, without issue.¹

     Pierce Noel Clark was the son of Simon Newport Clark and Maude Hackett.² He married Marian Stone, daughter of Reverend Henry Cecil Brough Stone, in 1925.¹ He died in 1933 at Australia^G, without issue.¹

     Maud Fitzgerald Clark is the daughter of Simon Newport Clark and Maude Hackett.² She married Thomas Patrick King.³
     Her married name became King. Maud Fitzgerald Clark also went by the nick-name of Queenie.³
