     Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Gideon was born in 1768.2 She was the daughter of Sampson Eardley, 1st and last Baron Eardley of Spalding and Maria Marowe Wilmot.1 She married Sir Culling Smith, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Culling Smith, 1st Bt. and Mary Burrows, on 22 September 1792.3 She died on 15 September 1820.3
     From 22 September 1792, her married name became Smith.3

     Colonel John Walbanke-Childers was the son of Childers Walbanke-Childers and Mary Thompson.2 He married Hon. Selena Gideon, daughter of Sampson Eardley, 1st and last Baron Eardley of Spalding and Maria Marowe Wilmot, in March 1797.1 He died on 1 March 1812.1
     He fought in the Flanders Campaign between 1793 and 1795.1 He fought in the Holland Campaign in 1799.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to HRH The Duke of York.1 He lived at Cantley Hall, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was commander of the 11th Light Dragoons.1
