     Margaret Valerie Alethe Lyon-Burke was born on 30 March 1915.² She was the daughter of Captain Alfred Herbert Lyon.¹ She married Commander Richard Ynyr Burges, son of Ynyr Richard Patrick Burges and Frederica Florence Elizabeth Gillett, on 8 June 1967.¹ She died on 2 April 1984 at age 69.²
     Margaret Valerie Alethe Lyon-Burke usually went by her middle name of Valerie.² She gained the rank of 2nd Officer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service.¹ From 8 June 1967, her married name became Burges.¹

     Patrick Claud Burges-Lumsden was born on 14 June 1905.¹ He was the son of Ynyr Richard Patrick Burges and Frederica Florence Elizabeth Gillett.² He married Margaret FitzGerald Lumsden, daughter of Rear-Admiral Walter Lumsden, on 17 September 1935.¹ He died on 21 September 1984 at age 79.³
     He was given the name of Patrick Claud Burges at birth.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards (SR.)¹ On 27 February 1948 his name was legally changed to Patrick Claud Burges-Lumsden by cerificatet of Official Recognition granted by Lord Lyon King of Arms.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1959.¹ He lived at Pitcaple Castle, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret FitzGerald Lumsden was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Walter Lumsden.¹ She married Patrick Claud Burges-Lumsden, son of Ynyr Richard Patrick Burges and Frederica Florence Elizabeth Gillett, on 17 September 1935.¹ She died on 15 June 1982.²
     From 17 September 1935, her married name became Burges. From 27 February 1948, her married name became Burges-Lumsden.¹

     Winifred Edith Burges was born Zi in October 1896.¹ She was the daughter of Ynyr Richard Patrick Burges and Frederica Florence Elizabeth Gillett.² She died on 9 January 1897.¹

     Margaret Elizabeth Burges was born on 18 September 1903.¹ She was the daughter of Ynyr Richard Patrick Burges and Frederica Florence Elizabeth Gillett.² She died on 29 June 1956 at age 52, unmarried.¹

     John Ynyr Wilbraham Burges was born on 13 February 1871.¹ He was the son of Colonel Ynyr Henry Burges and Hon. Edith Bootle-Wilbraham.^2,1 He died on 8 January 1895 at age 23, unmarried.¹
