     He graduated from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1935 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1939 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was the Principal between 1945 and 1950 at Khaiso School, Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa^G.² He was the Headmaster between 1950 and 1954 at St. Chad’s College, Ladysmith, Natal, South Africa^G.² He was Inspector of Schools, Department of African Education between 1956 and 1961.¹
