     Philippine von Luxemburg was born in 1250.¹ She was the daughter of Hendrik II ‘de Blonde’ van Limburg Graf von Luxemburg and Marguerite de Bar le Duc. She married Jean II d‘Avesnes, Comte de Hainaut et Graaf van Holland en Zeeland, son of Jean I d‘Avesnes, Comte de Hainault and Aleida van Hollant. She died on 6 April 1311.

     Hendrik II ‘de Blonde’ van Limburg Graf von Luxemburg was born circa 1217. He was the son of Walram III Hertog van Limburg Markgraf von Arlon and Ermisende II Comtesse de Namur Comtesse de Luxembourg.¹ He married Marguerite de Bar le Duc, daughter of Henri II de Bar le Duc, Comte de Bar le Duc and Philippe de Dreux, circa 1240. He died on 24 December 1281.
     Hendrik II ‘de Blonde’ van Limburg Graf von Luxemburg also went by the nick-name of Henri ‘the Great’.¹ He succeeded as the Comte de Luxembourg in 1247.¹

     Colonel Ferdinand Carey was born on 1 February 1590 at Hunsdon, Herefordshire, England.² He was the son of Sir Edmund Carey and Mary Cocker.^1,2 He married Philippa Throckmorton, daughter of John Throckmorton and Dorothy Saunders.² He died in 1663 at Maastricht, The Netherlands.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the States General.¹

     Louis de Brienne was the son of Jean I de Brienne, Emperor of Constantinople and Berengaria de Castilla.¹ He married Agnes, Vicomtesse de Beaumont, daughter of Raoul VIII, Vicomte de Beaumont and Agnes (?), on 12 February 1253.² He died after 1263.³
     He was also known as Louis d’Acre.¹ After his marriage, Louis de Brienne was styled as Vicomte de Beaumont, jure uxoris.¹

     Agnes, Vicomtesse de Beaumont was the daughter of Raoul VIII, Vicomte de Beaumont and Agnes (?)^1,2 She married Louis de Brienne, son of Jean I de Brienne, Emperor of Constantinople and Berengaria de Castilla, on 12 February 1253.² She died on 9 May 1301.²
     She gained the title of Vicomtesse de Beaumont [Maine], suo jure.¹

     Raoul VIII, Vicomte de Beaumont was the son of Richard I de Beaumont, Vicomte de Beaumont and Luce de l‘Aigle.² He married Agnes (?)² He died from 1238 to 1239.²
     He gained the title of Vicomte de Beaumont [Maine].¹

     Joan Latimer was the daughter of Sir William le Latimer. She married Sir Alexander Comyn, son of Alexander Comyn, 6th Earl of Buchan and Elizabeth de Quincy.¹
     Her married name became Comyn.¹

     Sir William le Latimer died before 22 November 1268.¹
     He lived at Scrampston, Yorkshire, England.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Yorkshire between July 1254 and 1260.¹ He was appointed Knight before 1262.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Yorkshire from 1266 to 1267.¹

     William le Latimer, 1st Lord Latimer (of Corby) was the son of Sir William le Latimer. He married Alice Ledet, daughter of Walter Ledet, circa 1268.² He died on 5 December 1304.²
     He acquired Corby from his father-in-law, Walter Ledet.² He was created 1st Lord Latimer, of Corby [England by writ] in 1290, to an assembly deemed by later (but not current) doctrine to a Parliament. However the first recorded writ of summons for him was from 29 December 1299.² He fought in the Battle of Stirling in 1297.² He fought in the Battle of Falkirk in 1298.² He held the office of Keeper of Berwick in 1300.² He fought in the Siege of Carlaverock in June 1300.²

     William Carey was the son of Lt.-Col. Ferdinando Carey and Isabella Oem.^1,2,3 He married Gertrude de Vlaming van Oudtshoorn, daughter of Cornelius de Vlaming van Oudtshoorn Heer van Oudtshoorn en Knephoek and Claesje Hooft.¹ He died on 7 November 1683.¹
