     Mervyn Robert Gustaaf FitzGerald was born on 8 September 1911.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Peter Francis FitzGerald and Baroness Adrienne de Geer.² He married Hilary Brown, daughter of Percy Houghton Brown, on 17 August 1940.¹ He died on 1 September 2000 at age 88.³

John Stewart Eyre was born on 28 December 1909 at Ilfracombe, Devon, England.^2,3 He was the son of William Henry Gregory Eyre and Louisa Butler Gower-Stewart.⁴ He married Patricia Marguerite Wilson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Patrick Hogarth Wilson, on 8 September 1936.² He died on 1 August 1992 at age 82 at Chippenham, Wiltshire, England.³
