     Leveson Francis Vernon-Harcourt was born on 25 January 1839.¹ He was the son of Admiral Frederick Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Marcia Tollemache.² He married Alice Brandreth, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Rowland Brandreth, on 2 August 1870.¹ He died on 14 September 1907 at age 68.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)¹ He was Professor of Civil Engineering between 1882 and 1905 at University College London, London, England.¹ He was awarded the Commander, Imperial Franz Josef Order of Austria-Hungary in 1904.¹

     Alice Brandreth was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Rowland Brandreth. She married Leveson Francis Vernon-Harcourt, son of Admiral Frederick Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Marcia Tollemache, on 2 August 1870.¹ She died on 28 August 1919.¹
     Her married name became Vernon-Harcourt.

     Lt.-Col. Henry Rowland Brandreth was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Jane Vernon-Harcourt was born circa 1852. She was the daughter of Admiral Frederick Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Marcia Tollemache.^1,2 She married Reverend Francis Digby Legard, son of George Legard and Anne Elizabeth Hawksworth, on 18 April 1872.² She died on 22 March 1875.²
     Her married name became Legard.

     Reverend Francis Digby Legard was born on 13 March 1829.¹ He was the son of George Legard and Anne Elizabeth Hawksworth.² He married Jane Vernon-Harcourt, daughter of Admiral Frederick Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Marcia Tollemache, on 18 April 1872.¹ He died on 10 November 1883 at age 54.¹
     He was the Rector at Stokesley, Northallerton, Yorkshire, England^G.

     Leveson William Vernon-Harcourt was born on 15 October 1871.² He was the son of Leveson Francis Vernon-Harcourt and Alice Brandreth.² He married Rose Adelaide Lawrence, daughter of Frederick Lawrence, on 18 May 1899.² He died on 30 April 1909 at age 37.²
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was a practising barrister.²

     Rose Adelaide Lawrence was the daughter of Frederick Lawrence.¹ She married, firstly, Leveson William Vernon-Harcourt, son of Leveson Francis Vernon-Harcourt and Alice Brandreth, on 18 May 1899.¹ She married, secondly, Matthew Liddell on 31 October 1914.¹ She died on 25 September 1959.¹
     From 18 May 1899, her married name became Vernon-Harcourt. From 31 October 1914, her married name became Liddell.
