     Irene Catherine Cohen was born on 19 June 1891 at 27 Sussex Square, London, England^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of Sir Leonard Lionel Cohen and Eliza Henrietta Schloss.^1,2 She married Colonel Thomas Henry Sebag-Montefiore, son of Arthur Sebag-Montefiore and Harriette Hannah Beddington, on 11 December 1919.¹ She died on 3 December 1933 at age 42.¹
     She was awarded the Associate, Roytal red Cross (A.R.R.C.)² From 11 December 1919, her married name became Sebag-Montefiore.¹

     Sir Leonard Lionel Cohen was born on 17 April 1858.¹ He was the son of Lionel Louis Cohen and Esther Moses.^1,2 He married Eliza Henrietta Schloss, daughter of Sigismund Schloss, on 3 December 1885 at Central Synagogue, London, England^G.^1,3 He died on 10 April 1938 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at King’s College School, Wimbledon, London, England.¹ He was member of the Jewish Board of Guardians between 1888 and 1920.¹ He was director of Bengal and NW Railway and Rohilkund and Kumaon Railway.⁴ He was member of the Committee Stock Exchange between 1896 and 1904.¹ He was partner of Louis Cohen and Sons, foreign bankers and of Stock Exchange till its dissolution before 1901.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1930.¹ He lived at Wellingrove, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, England^G.⁴

     Eliza Henrietta Schloss was born in 1865.² She was the daughter of Sigismund Schloss.¹ She married Sir Leonard Lionel Cohen, son of Lionel Louis Cohen and Esther Moses, on 3 December 1885 at Central Synagogue, London, England^G.^1,2 She died on 20 March 1935.^1,2
     From 3 December 1885, her married name became Cohen.¹

     Sigismund Schloss lived at Bowden, Cheshire, England^G.¹

     Lionel Louis Cohen was born in 1832.¹ He was the son of Louis Cohen and Rebecca Floretta Keyser.^1,2 He married Esther Moses, daughter of Jacob Henry Moses, in 1856.¹ He died in 1887.¹
