John McClintock, 1st Baron Rathdonnell1 
He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Officer in the 74th Foot.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Louth Regiment Rifle Militia.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Louth in 1840.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for County Louth between 1857 and 1859.1 He was created 1st Baron Rathdonnell, of Rathdonnell, co. Donegal [Ireland] on 21 December 1868, with a special remainder to his brother William.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Fermamagh.1

Captain William Bunbury McClintock-Bunbury1 
He was given the name of William Bunbury McClintock at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 In 1846 his name was legally changed to William Bunbury McClintock-Bunbury by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Carlow between 1846 and 1862.1
