In 1556 he took part in the settlement of Queen’s County.1 On 28 February 1563 he was granted Loughtioge Castle, and was burnt by insurgents in July 1569.1 He held the office of Provost Marshal of Connaught between 1571 and 1573.1 He lived at Shannenmullen, County Laois, IrelandG.1
