     General Sir Garrett O’Moore Creagh, V.C. was the son of Captain James Creagh and Grace Emily O’Moore.3,1 He married Mary Letitia Longfield Brereton, daughter of John Robert Brereton and Mary O’Moore, in May 1874.1 He died on 9 August 1923.1
     He was appointed Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Star of India (G.C.S.I.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 129th Regiment.2 He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1
