     He was educated at Clongowes Wood College, S.J., Clane, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹ He graduated from University College Dublin, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was ordained in 1949 Society of Jesuits.¹ He was with Mission and Retreats after 1957.¹ He lived in 1976 at Manresa House, Dollymount, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Catherine Mary Brenan was born on 18 June 1910.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Henry Feehan Brenan and Kathleen Mary Clare Morris.² She married Hans Jeffrey Theobald White on 2 October 1940.¹
     From 2 October 1940, her married name became White.
