     Joanna Crewe Chetwode Townsend was born on 18 December 1873.¹ She was the daughter of Major John Crewe Chetwode Townsend and Frances Dorothea Townshend.² She married Oliver Selwyn Stokes on 10 June 1897.¹ She died on 26 November 1931 at age 57.¹
     From 10 June 1897, her married name became Stokes.¹

     Oliver Selwyn Stokes married Joanna Crewe Chetwode Townsend, daughter of Major John Crewe Chetwode Townsend and Frances Dorothea Townshend, on 10 June 1897.¹

     Horatio Hamilton Townsend was born in 1830.¹ He was the son of Horatio Townsend and Henrietta Margaret Chetwode.² He married Elizabeth Ware, daughter of Nathaniel Webb Ware, in 1867.¹ He died in 1897.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Woodside, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Cordangan Manor, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹

     Horatio Vere Townsend was born in 1870.¹ He was the son of Horatio Hamilton Townsend and Elizabeth Ware.² He died in 1872.¹

     Ethel Grace Bewley was the daughter of Sir Thomas Bewley.¹ She married Francis Boxwell, son of John Boxwell and Elizabeth Honoria Frances Stokes, on 11 November 1905.¹ She died on 27 June 1906.¹
     From 11 November 1905, her married name became Boxwell.¹

     Hugh Hamilton Massey Townsend was born on 9 September 1908.¹ He was the son of George Hugh Chetwood Townsend and Geraldine Massy.² He married, firstly, Harriet Hermione Billing Mease, daughter of Reverend Charles William O’Hara Mease.¹ He and Harriet Hermione Billing Mease were divorced.¹ He married, secondly, Erma Nora Franks, daughter of Thomas William Franks and Erma Ida Ryan, on 24 May 1969.¹ He died on 27 January 1974 at age 65.¹
