     Horatio Townsend was the son of Samuel Philip Townsend and Helena Robinson.² He married, firstly, Katherine Morris, daughter of Abraham Morris, in 1808.¹ He married, secondly, Henrietta Margaret Chetwode, daughter of Reverend J. Chetwode, in 1822.¹ He died in 1864.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cork in 1840.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cork.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.¹ He lived at Woodside, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Major John Crewe Chetwode Townsend was born on 29 January 1824.² He was the son of Horatio Townsend and Henrietta Margaret Chetwode.² He married Frances Dorothea Townshend, daughter of Samuel Philip Townshend and Frances Helena Newman, on 14 April 1869.² He died on 1 May 1873 at age 49.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the North Cork Rifles.² He lived at Firmount, Blarney, County Cork, Ireland^G.² He lived at Mayfield House, County Cork, Ireland^G.²

     Emily Mildred Townshend was born in 1849.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Philip Townshend and Frances Helena Newman.² She married Reverend Thomas Allin on 20 February 1873.¹ She died on 12 February 1898.¹
     From 20 February 1873, her married name became Allin.

     Reverend Thomas Allin married Emily Mildred Townshend, daughter of Samuel Philip Townshend and Frances Helena Newman, on 20 February 1873.¹

     Mary Hungerford Townshend was born on 3 August 1850.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Philip Townshend and Frances Helena Newman.²

     Alice Maud Townshend was born on 20 April 1854. She was the daughter of Samuel Philip Townshend and Frances Helena Newman.² She married William Hare Maunsell, son of William Hare Maunsell and Fanny ffrench, in 1884.¹
     From 1884, her married name became Maunsell.

     Sofia Mary Bonniface was born on 27 November 2007.¹ She is the daughter of Hayden Michael Bonniface and Maleney Anderson.¹

     William Hare Maunsell was the son of William Hare Maunsell and Fanny ffrench.² He married Alice Maud Townshend, daughter of Samuel Philip Townshend and Frances Helena Newman, in 1884.¹ He died in December 1907.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Anne Townshend was born in 1773.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Townshend and Mildred Daunt.² She died on 22 October 1822.¹

     Mary Townshend was born in 1778.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Townshend and Mildred Daunt.² She died, unmarried.¹
