     Charles Loftus Uniacke Townshend was born on 7 January 1861.¹ He was the son of Charles Uniacke Townshend and Anna Maria Sarah Tottenham.² He married Beatrice Margaret von Bunsen, daughter of Karl von Bunsen, on 27 April 1895.¹ He died on 17 March 1931 at age 70.¹
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles.¹ He lived at 46 Lansdowne Road, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Hill House, Reigate, Surrey, England^G.¹ He lived at Castle Townshend, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Karl von Bunsen was born in 1821.² He was the son of Christian Karl Josias Baron von Bunsen.¹ He died in 1887.²
     He was with the German Diplomatic Service.¹ He lived at Mein Genügen, Biebrich, Germany^G.¹

     Beatrice Margaret von Bunsen was the daughter of Karl von Bunsen.² She married Charles Loftus Uniacke Townshend, son of Charles Uniacke Townshend and Anna Maria Sarah Tottenham, on 27 April 1895.¹ She died on 21 December 1947.¹
     From 27 April 1895, her married name became Townshend.

     Commander Charles Richard de Bunsen Loftus Townshend was born on 4 April 1896.¹ He was the son of Charles Loftus Uniacke Townshend and Beatrice Margaret von Bunsen.² He married Eileen Marianne Crawford, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Cane Crawford, on 20 March 1943.¹ He died on 30 August 1973 at age 77, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Margaret Temple is the daughter of Sir Thomas Temple, 1st Bt. and Hester Sandys.¹ She married Sir Edward Longueville, 1st Bt., son of Sir Henry Longueville and Katherine Cary.
     Her married name became Longueville.

     Eileen Marianne Crawford is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Cane Crawford.² She married Commander Charles Richard de Bunsen Loftus Townshend, son of Charles Loftus Uniacke Townshend and Beatrice Margaret von Bunsen, on 20 March 1943.¹
     From 20 March 1943, her married name became Townshend. She lived in 1976 at Beauford, Chillaton, Lifton, Devon, England^G.¹

     Frederick Wilham Chisholm Loftus Townshend was born on 19 November 1897.¹ He was the son of Charles Loftus Uniacke Townshend and Beatrice Margaret von Bunsen.²
     He lived in 1976 at 85 Baines Avenue, Harare, Zimbabwe^G.¹

     Charles Maurice Waddington Loftus Townshend was born on 31 January 1899.¹ He was the son of Charles Loftus Uniacke Townshend and Beatrice Margaret von Bunsen.² He married Elena Frances Margaret Anne Blackburne, daughter of Francis William Blackburne, on 22 March 1928.¹ He died on 13 June 1966 at age 67.¹
