     Colonel Geoffrey Wrixon O’Donoghue is the son of Patrick O’Donoghue and Mary McCartie.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the British Army.¹

     William John O’Donoghue is the son of Patrick O’Donoghue and Mary McCartie.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 47th Regiment.¹ He fought in the Battle of Tariffa, Spain in 1812, where he was wounded.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1826.¹

     Mary O’Donoghue is the daughter of Patrick O’Donoghue and Mary McCartie.² She married John Murphy in September 1791.¹
