     Evelyn Irene Sophie Phipps-Hornby was born on 14 November 1895.² She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Edmund John Phipps-Hornby, V.C.³ She married Brigadier Hubert Francis Lucas, son of Francis Granville Lewis Lucas and Mary Frances Bovill, on 24 August 1920.^3,4 She died in June 1993 at age 97.⁴
     From 24 August 1921, her married name became Lucas.

     Diana Joan Lucas was born on 29 April 1931.¹ She was the daughter of Brigadier Hubert Francis Lucas and Evelyn Irene Sophie Phipps-Hornby.² She married Captain John Brian St. Vincent Hawkins, son of Brigadier Victor Francis Staples Hawkins and Violet Beryl Ware, on 2 January 1954.¹ She died in 1994.¹
     From 2 January 1954, her married name became Hawkins.

     Brigadier Victor Francis Staples Hawkins was born on 4 August 1896 at Preston, Dorset, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Captain Herbert Reginald Montgomery Hawkins and Hilda Nugent Bankes.² He married Violet Beryl Ware, daughter of Charles Edward Cumberlege Ware, on 20 October 1921.³ He died on 28 April 1975 at age 78, as the result of a road accident.³
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.³ He fought in the First World War.² He was commissioned in 1914 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Lancashire Fusiliers.³ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.³ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.² He fought in the Second World War, and was seriously wounded at Kohima.² He was commander of the 1st Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers between 1939 and 1940.³ He was Commandant, N2 Staff College between 1941 and 1942.³ He was commander of the 5th Infantry Brigade.³ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1944.² He was commander of the 130 Infantry Brigade, Territorial Army between 1947 and 1950.³ He retired from the military in 1950, with the rank of Brigadier.³ He lived at Athelleaze, Athelhampton, Dorchester, Dorset, England^G.¹

     Captain John Brian St. Vincent Hawkins was born in August 1929.² He is the son of Brigadier Victor Francis Staples Hawkins and Violet Beryl Ware.^3,4 He married Diana Joan Lucas, daughter of Brigadier Hubert Francis Lucas and Evelyn Irene Sophie Phipps-Hornby, on 2 January 1954.¹
     Captain John Brian St. Vincent Hawkins usually went by his middle name of Brian.² He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of officer between 1947 and 1948 in the Grenadier Guards.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He was commissioned in 1949 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Dorset Regiment.² He fought in the Korean War, with Glosters.² He was with Dorset Police in 1958.² He lived in 1976 at Orchard House, 7 Clarence Road, Dorchester, Dorset, England.²

     Rowena Fay Hawkins was born on 2 March 1955.¹ She is the daughter of Captain John Brian St. Vincent Hawkins and Diana Joan Lucas.² She married, firstly, Lt.-Cdr. David Lawrence Barrow in 1986.¹ She married, secondly, Michael Richard Ward in 1996.¹
     From 1986, her married name became Barrow. From 1996, her married name became Ward.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. David Lawrence Barrow married Rowena Fay Hawkins, daughter of Captain John Brian St. Vincent Hawkins and Diana Joan Lucas, in 1986.¹ He died in 1989.¹

     Wendy Susan Hawkins was born on 7 November 1957.¹ She is the daughter of Captain John Brian St. Vincent Hawkins and Diana Joan Lucas.² She married Robert Leonard Creed in 1988.¹ She and Robert Leonard Creed were divorced in February 2000.³
     From 1988, her married name became Creed. She lived in 2003 at 166 Hatton Road, Bedfont, London, England^G.¹
