     Christopher Edward Wollaston MacKenzie Geidt, Baron Geidt is the son of Mervyn Bernard Geidt and Diana Cecil MacKenzie.4,2 He married Hon. Emma Charlotte Angela Neill, daughter of Francis Patrick Neill, Baron Neill of Bladen and Caroline Susan Debenham, on 6 July 1996.1
     He held the office of Private Secretary to HM Queen Elizabeth II.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 2014.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 2017. He was created Baron Geidt, of Crobeg in the County of Ross and Cromarty [U.K. Life Peer] on 3 November 2017. He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 2018.5
