     Sir Alvary Douglas Frederick Trench-Gascoigne was born on 6 August 1893.¹ He was the son of Colonel Frederick Richard Thomas Trench-Gascoigne and Laura Gwendolen Douglas Galton.¹ He married, firstly, Sylvia Wilder, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Wilbur Elliott Wilder, on 15 May 1916.¹ He and Sylvia Wilder were divorced in 1935.¹ He married, secondly, Lorna Priscilla Leatham, daughter of Edmund Ernest Leatham and Jeannette Emmett Cunard, on 23 February 1935.¹ He died on 18 April 1970 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was in the Diplomatic Service between 1921 and 1953.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1942.¹ He held the office of Political Representative to Japan between 1946 and 1951, with the rank of Ambassador.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1948.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to the U.S.S.R. between 1951 and 1953.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1953.¹

     Molyneux Dalrymple was born before 1809. He was the son of Marton Dalrymple and Frances Ingram Spence.¹

     Frances Dalrymple is the daughter of Marton Dalrymple and Frances Ingram Spence.¹ She married John Goldingham.¹
     Her married name became Goldingham.¹

     Sylvia Wilder is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Wilbur Elliott Wilder.¹ She married Sir Alvary Douglas Frederick Trench-Gascoigne, son of Colonel Frederick Richard Thomas Trench-Gascoigne and Laura Gwendolen Douglas Galton, on 15 May 1916.¹ She and Sir Alvary Douglas Frederick Trench-Gascoigne were divorced in 1935.¹
     From 15 May 1916, her married name became Trench-Gascoigne.¹

     Caroline Lucy Dalrymple was the daughter of Marton Dalrymple and Frances Ingram Spence.¹ She married Thomas Prendergast, son of General Sir Jeffrey Prendergast, on 7 July 1828 at Negaputnam, India.¹ She died in 1839.¹
     Her married name became Prendergast.

     Thomas Prendergast was the son of General Sir Jeffrey Prendergast.¹ He married Caroline Lucy Dalrymple, daughter of Marton Dalrymple and Frances Ingram Spence, on 7 July 1828 at Negaputnam, India.¹

     General Sir Jeffrey Prendergast is the son of Thomas Prendergast.²
