Sir John Head, 5th Bt. was born circa 1702.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Head, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Smithsby.¹ He married, firstly, Jane Leigh, daughter of Reverend Peter Leigh and Elizabeth Egerton, circa 1730.¹ He married, secondly, Jane Geckie, daughter of unknown Geckie, on 21 April 1751.¹ He died on 4 December 1769, without surviving issue.¹
     He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was the Rector between 1730 and 1760 at St. George’s, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.¹ He was the Vicar in 1732 at Selling, Kent, England^G.¹ He was the Rector in 1737 at Burmarsh, England^G.¹ He held the office of Prebendary of Hereford between 1738 and 1769.¹ He was Deputy Clerk of the Closet to King George II in 1740.¹ He held the office of Archdeacon of Hereford between 1748 and 1769.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Prebendary of Canterbury between 1759 and 1769.¹ He was the Rector before 1760 at Pluckley, Kent, England^G.¹ He was the Rector between 1760 and 1769 at Ickham, Kent, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Head, of the Hermitage, co. Kent [E., 1676] on 27 November 1768.¹

     Hester Leigh was baptised on 3 August 1710 at Whitchurch, Shropshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Peter Leigh and Elizabeth Egerton.¹ She died circa December 1710.¹ She was buried on 1 January 1711 at Whitchurch, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Sophia Egerton Leigh was the daughter of Sir Egerton Leigh, 1st Bt. and Mary Bremar.¹ She died on 18 June 1773.¹

     Arabella Anne Leigh was the daughter of Sir Egerton Leigh, 1st Bt. and Mary Bremar.¹ She died on 4 June 1766.¹

     Louisa Gertrude Leigh was the daughter of Sir Egerton Leigh, 1st Bt. and Mary Bremar.¹ She died on 29 May 1769.¹

     Henry Herbert Kitchener, 3rd Earl Kitchener of Khartoum and of Broome was born on 24 February 1919.¹ He was the son of Henry Franklin Chevallier Kitchener, Viscount Broome and Adela Mary Evelyn Monins.² He died on 16 December 2011 at age 92.³
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was Page Honour to HM King George VI Coronation in 1937.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Denton, of Denton, co. Kent [U.K., 1914] on 27 March 1937.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Earl Kitchener of Khartoum and of Broome, of Khartoum and of Broome, co. Kent [U.K., 1914] on 27 March 1937.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Kitchener of Khartoum, and of the Vaal in the Colony of the Transvaal , and of Aspall, Suffolk [U.K., 1902] on 27 March 1937.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Broome, of Broome [U.K., 1914] on 27 March 1937.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Signals.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cheshire in 1972.¹ He lived in 2003 at Westergate Wood, Eastergate, Sussex, England^G.¹ On his death, his titles became extinct.³

     Thomas Kitchener was born circa 1666 at Binstead, Alton, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He married Abigail Clarke.¹ He died on 5 April 1731.¹
     He was a land agent at Lakenheath, Suffolk, to Sir Nicholas Stuart, 1st Bt, Lord of the Manor in 1693.¹ He was a churchwarden in 1697.¹

     Abigail Clarke married Thomas Kitchener.¹ She died circa June 1747.¹ She was buried on 19 June 1747.¹
     Her married name became Kitchener.

     Robert Kitchener was baptised on 16 October 1717.¹ He was the son of Thomas Kitchener and Abigail Clarke.² He and Ann Fisher obtained a marriage license on 17 September 1738.¹ He died on 15 December 1775 at age 58.¹
     He lived at Lakenheath, Suffolk, England^G.¹
