Hugh Stuart Trevor Goff was born on 21 August 1885.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Trevor Goff and Henrietta Maude Saye.3 He married Winifred Quigley, daughter of Martin Quigley, on 3 October 1918.1 He died on 31 December 1972 at age 87 at Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.2
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Special List.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
