     Jane Elizabeth Moss was born on 31 May 1943.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Patrick Hugh Moss and Mary Elizabeth Anne Dashwood.² She married, firstly, Lieutenant Roger Sowerby on 5 July 1969.¹ She and Lieutenant Roger Sowerby were divorced in 1974.¹ She married, secondly, Brian James Maby in 1976.¹ She and Brian James Maby were divorced in 1980.¹ She died on 16 October 2006 at age 63.³
     She was educated at Winchester County High School, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She was educated at Gosport Grammar School, Gosport, Hampshire, England^G.¹ From 5 July 1969, her married name became Sowerby. From 1976, her married name became Maby.¹ In 1980 her name was legally changed to Moss.¹ She lived in 2003 at 14 Maizemore Walk, Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Lieutenant Roger Sowerby married Jane Elizabeth Moss, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Patrick Hugh Moss and Mary Elizabeth Anne Dashwood, on 5 July 1969.¹ He and Jane Elizabeth Moss were divorced in 1974.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Lt.-Col. George Dashwood was born in 1669 at Boxford, Berkshire, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of George Dashwood and Margaret Perry.³ He married Algerina Peyton, daughter of Sir Algernon Peyton, 1st Bt. and Frances Sewster, on 4 June 1698.^1,2 He died in 1706.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.¹

     Sir Algernon Peyton, 1st Bt. was born in 1645 at Ely, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He was the son of Reverend Algernon Peyton. He married Frances Sewster in 1667.² He died in 1671.²
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Peyton.

     Algerina Peyton was born in 1669 at Ely, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Sir Algernon Peyton, 1st Bt. and Frances Sewster.³ She married Lt.-Col. George Dashwood, son of George Dashwood and Margaret Perry, on 4 June 1698.^1,2 She died in 1706.²
     From 4 June 1698, her married name became Dashwood.

     Elizabeth Dashwood was the daughter of George Dashwood and Margaret Perry.³ She married Sir Thomas Hare, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Ralph Hare, 1st Bt. and Mary Crane.¹ She died in 1750.³
     Her married name became Hare.

     Sir Thomas Hare, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Ralph Hare, 1st Bt. and Mary Crane.² He married Elizabeth Dashwood, daughter of George Dashwood and Margaret Perry.¹ He died on 1 January 1693.¹
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Hare, of Stow Bardolph, Norfolk [E., 1641] on 12 July 1671.²

     Anne Dashwood was the daughter of George Dashwood and Margaret Perry.² She married Sir Sewster Peyton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Algernon Peyton, 1st Bt. and Frances Sewster, on 17 July 1701.¹ She died on 4 April 1751.³
     From 17 July 1701, her married name became Peyton.
