     Donald Drummond-Hay was born on 25 October 1906.1 He was the son of Francis Edward Drummond-Hay and Eveline Anstey Bennett.2 He died on 13 April 1961 at age 54, unmarried.1
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.1
