Jeanne Antoinette Poisson, Marquise de Pompadour was born on 29 December 1721 at Paris, FranceG.1 She was the daughter of François Poisson and Madeleine de La Motte.1,2 She married Charles Guillame Lenormant, Seigneur d’Etiolles on 9 March 1741.1 She died on 15 April 1764 at age 42 at Versailles, FranceG.1
From 9 March 1741, her married name became Lenormant.1 She and Louis XV, Roi de France were associated between 1750 and 1764.1
