     Ellen Adelaide Minchin was born on 4 April 1840.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend William Minchin and Mary Anne Wright.² She married Henry Richard Nicholls on 9 June 1863 at Ballarat, Victoria, Australia^G.³ She died on 28 July 1908 at age 68 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia^G.⁴
     From 9 June 1863, her married name became Nicholls.

     Henry Richard Nicholls was born on 6 January 1830 at Regent Street, London, England^G.² He married Ellen Adelaide Minchin, daughter of Reverend William Minchin and Mary Anne Wright, on 9 June 1863 at Ballarat, Victoria, Australia^G.³ He died on 13 August 1912 at age 82 at Battery Point, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia^G.^3,2 He was also reported to have died on 1 September 1912.¹
     He was Editor of The Mercury at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia^G.¹ He had three sons and two daughters.¹

     George Minchin was born on 3 December 1835.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Minchin and Mary Anne Wright.¹ He died circa 1845.¹

     Catherine Seymour is the daughter of Reverend Crosbie Seymour.² She married Reverend William Minchin, son of William Minchin and Rebecca Minchin, in 1845.¹
     From 1845, her married name became Minchin.

     John Minchin was the son of William Minchin and Rebecca Minchin.² He married unknown Hogg.¹ He died, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Dragoons (Lancers.)¹

     Charles Humphrey Minchin was born in 1798.² He was the son of William Minchin and Rebecca Minchin.³ He married, firstly, Amelia Wright, daughter of Corker Wright, in 1817.¹ He married, secondly, Eleanor Gavin in 1860 at Birr, County Offaly, Ireland^G.^1,2 He died in 1874.² He was also reported to have died in 1884.¹
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1814 in the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the Battle of Waterloo.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for King’s County.¹ He lived at Rutland, Birr, County Offaly, Ireland^G.¹

     Amelia Wright is the daughter of Corker Wright.¹ She married Charles Humphrey Minchin, son of William Minchin and Rebecca Minchin, in 1817.¹
     From 1817, her married name became Minchin.

     Stephen Wright Minchin was the son of Charles Humphrey Minchin and Amelia Wright.² He died, without issue.¹
