     Lt.-Col. William Loch is the son of Colonel William Loch and Catherine Orton.

     Elizabeth Graham was the daughter of Nicol Graham, 4th of Gallingad and 5th of Gartmore and Margaret Cuninghame.^2,1 She married Sir Robert Dalyell of the Binns, 4th Bt., son of Sir James Dalyell of the Binns, 3rd Bt. and Helen Campbell, on 22 September 1773.¹ She died on 31 July 1825.¹
     From 22 September 1773, her married name became Dalyell.¹

     Sir James Dalyell of the Binns, 5th Bt. was born on 7 July 1774.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Dalyell of the Binns, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Graham.² He died on 1 February 1841 at age 66, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Dalyell [N.S., 1685] on 10 October 1791.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1793 in the British Army, in Flanders.¹

     Sir John Graham Dalyell of the Binns, 6th Bt. was born circa 1778.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Dalyell of the Binns, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Graham.² He died on 7 June 1851, unmarried.¹
     He was admitted to Scottish Bar in 1797 entitled to practise as a Advocate.¹ He was Vice-President of the Society of Antiquaries Scotland.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1836.¹ He was a historical and scientific author.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Dalyell [N.S., 1685] on 1 February 1841.¹

     General Robert Dalyell was born after 1787. He was the son of Sir Robert Dalyell of the Binns, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Graham.² He died in 1848, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of General.¹

     Captain Sir William Cunningham Dalyell of the Binns, 7th Bt. was born on 27 April 1787.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Dalyell of the Binns, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Graham.² He married Maria Sampayo, daughter of Antonio Texeira Sampayo and Frances Greatrakes, on 19 September 1820.¹ He died on 16 February 1865 at age 77.¹
     He was wounded over sixteen times in various actions, and was a prisoner in France for many years.¹ He fought in the Napoleonic Wars.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was Governor of Greenwich Hospital.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dalyell [N.S., 1685] on 7 June 1851.¹

     Antonio Texeira Sampayo married Frances Greatrakes.
     He was Portuguese Consul at Cork, Waterford and Limerick. He lived at Peterborough House, Fulham, London, England^G.¹

     Maria Sampayo was the daughter of Antonio Texeira Sampayo and Frances Greatrakes.² She married Captain Sir William Cunningham Dalyell of the Binns, 7th Bt., son of Sir Robert Dalyell of the Binns, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Graham, on 19 September 1820.¹ She died on 20 October 1871.¹
     From 19 September 1820, her married name became Dalyell.¹

     Sir Robert Alexander Osborne Dalyell of the Binns, 8th Bt. was born in 1821.¹ He was the son of Captain Sir William Cunningham Dalyell of the Binns, 7th Bt. and Maria Sampayo.² He died on 21 January 1886, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was British Consul to Erzerum in 1859.¹ He was British Consul to Jassy in 1862.¹ He was British Consul to Rustchuk between 1865 and 1879.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Dalyell [N.S., 1685] on 16 February 1865.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Linlithgowshire.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became dormant until 1914.¹

     Commander Osborne William Dalyell was the son of Captain Sir William Cunningham Dalyell of the Binns, 7th Bt. and Maria Sampayo.² He died on 22 December 1862, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Siege of Sebastopol, where he was severely wounded.¹
