     Ross Mahon was born circa 1696 at Ahascragh, County Galway, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Bryan Mahon and Ellinor Gaynor.3,4 He and Jane Ussher obtained a marriage license on 27 December 1721 at St. Andrew’s, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1,2 He died in April 1767.1
     In 1751 inherited bulk of bros’ fortune.4 He lived at Castlegar, Ahascragh, County Galway, IrelandG.1
