Kildare [I., 1776] on 11 July 1833. He succeeded as the 5th Baron of Baltinglass, co. Wicklow [I., 1763] on 11 July 1833. His last will was dated 13 July 1849 at LeghornG.1
Gibbs states, “by his own showing the Earl must have been an exceptional scoundrel and bigamous betrayer of women under cover of pretended marraige.”1
