     Sir Robert Ponsonby Staples, 12th Bt. was born on 30 June 1853.¹ He was the son of Sir Nathaniel Alexander Staples, 10th Bt. and Elizabeth Lindsay Head.² He married Ada Louise Stammers, daughter of H. Stammers, on 25 April 1883.¹ He died on 18 October 1943 at age 90.¹
     He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Staples, of Lissan, co. Tyrone and Faghanvale, co. Londonderry [I., 1628] on 3 February 1933.¹

     H. Stammers lived at London, England^G.¹

     Ada Louise Stammers was the daughter of H. Stammers.² She married Sir Robert Ponsonby Staples, 12th Bt., son of Sir Nathaniel Alexander Staples, 10th Bt. and Elizabeth Lindsay Head, on 25 April 1883.¹ She died on 3 March 1940.¹
     From 25 April 1883, her married name became Staples.

     Sir Robert George Alexander Staples, 13th Bt. was born on 21 September 1894.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Ponsonby Staples, 12th Bt. and Ada Louise Stammers.² He married Vera Lilian Jenkins, daughter of John Jenkins, on 26 July 1922.¹ He died in December 1970 at age 76, without male issue.¹
     He was educated at Campbell College, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹ He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Staples, of Lissan, co. Tyrone and Faghanvale, co. Londonderry [I., 1628] on 18 October 1943.¹ He was a director of Peter Marsh & Sons (Northern Ireland) in 1961.¹

     John Jenkins lived at Beckenham, Kent, England^G.¹

     Vera Lilian Jenkins is the daughter of John Jenkins.² She married Sir Robert George Alexander Staples, 13th Bt., son of Sir Robert Ponsonby Staples, 12th Bt. and Ada Louise Stammers, on 26 July 1922.¹
     From 26 July 1922, her married name became Staples.

     Hazel Marion Staples was born on 13 June 1923.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Robert George Alexander Staples, 13th Bt. and Vera Lilian Jenkins.² She married Harry Holbeche Radclyffe Dolling on 1 September 1970.¹
     From 1 September 1970, her married name became Dolling. She lived in 2003 at Lissan House, Cookstown, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹

     Harry Holbeche Radclyffe Dolling married Hazel Marion Staples, daughter of Sir Robert George Alexander Staples, 13th Bt. and Vera Lilian Jenkins, on 1 September 1970.¹ He died in 1986.¹

     Elizabeth Hope Staples was born on 26 September 1924.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Robert George Alexander Staples, 13th Bt. and Vera Lilian Jenkins.² She married Charles Cameron Gough, son of Charles Gough, on 1 September 1951.¹ She died on 6 August 1970 at age 45.¹
     From 1 September 1951, her married name became Gough.

     Charles Gough lived at Chilvester House, Calne, Wiltshire, England^G.¹
