     Margaret Mathers Preshaw was born on 10 March 1837 at Fettercain, Kincardineshire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of William Fisher Preshaw and Isabella Will Ogilvy.¹ She married, firstly, Henry Sevier in 1854 at Australia^G.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Thomas Hewan Archdall, son of Thomas Hewan Archdall and Henrietta Sarah Sutton, in 1877 at Victoria, Australia^G.¹
     From 1854, her married name became Sevier.¹ From 1877, her married name became Archdall.¹

     Henry Sevier married Margaret Mathers Preshaw, daughter of William Fisher Preshaw and Isabella Will Ogilvy, in 1854 at Australia^G.¹

     Mary Anne Kirkpatrick was the daughter of Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 5th Bt. and Jane Kirkpatrick Sharpe.² She married Henry Lumsden, son of Hary Lumsden and Catherine McVeagh.¹ She died on 24 April 1891.¹ She died on 24 April 1891.²
     Her married name became Lumsden.

     Mervyn Henry Archdall was born in 1874 at Australia^G.¹ He was the son of William Caesar Archdall and Eliza Agnes Broadbent.¹ He died in 1874 at Australia^G.¹

     Colonel Thomas Lumsden is the son of Hary Lumsden and Catherine McVeagh.² He married Hay Burnett, daughter of Peter Burnett of Elrick, in 1821.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Bengal Artillery.¹ He lived at Belhelvie, Scotland^G.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Hay Burnett is the daughter of Peter Burnett of Elrick.² She married Colonel Thomas Lumsden, son of Hary Lumsden and Catherine McVeagh, in 1821.¹
     From 1821, her married name became Lumsden.

     William James Lumsden was the son of Hary Lumsden and Catherine McVeagh.² He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Thompson, daughter of Matthew Thompson.¹ He married, thirdly, Wilhelmina Stewart Leith, daughter of Colonel Forbes Leith.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Margaret Arbuthnott, daughter of John Arbuthnott, 8th Viscount of Arbuthnott and Margaret Ogilvy, on 5 August 1837.¹ He died on 27 August 1875.¹
     He acquired a fortune in the Bombay Civil Service.¹ He purchased the estates of Balmedie, Newtyle, Balthain and Johnston in Leslie.¹ He lived at Balmedie, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹
