     William John Frederick Currie was born on 28 August 1852.¹ He was the son of William Close Currie and Harriet Gardiner Browne.² He married Minnie Euphemia Henrietta McMillan Catania, daughter of G. H. Catania, on 1 January 1887.¹ He died on 2 September 1923 at age 71.¹

     Minnie Euphemia Henrietta McMillan Catania was the daughter of G. H. Catania.² She married William John Frederick Currie, son of William Close Currie and Harriet Gardiner Browne, on 1 January 1887.¹ She died on 5 May 1953.¹
     From 1 January 1887, her married name became Currie.

     William George Cubitt Currie was born on 29 February 1888.¹ He was the son of William John Frederick Currie and Minnie Euphemia Henrietta McMillan Catania.² He married Ellen May (?) on 22 March 1952.¹

     Ellen May (?) married, secondly, William George Cubitt Currie, son of William John Frederick Currie and Minnie Euphemia Henrietta McMillan Catania, on 22 March 1952.¹
     Her married name became Thornton.¹ From 22 March 1952, her married name became Currie.

     Edward John Charles Currie was born on 28 March 1892.¹ He was the son of William John Frederick Currie and Minnie Euphemia Henrietta McMillan Catania.² He married Doris (?) on 8 August 1935.¹ He died on 22 November 1956 at age 64 at Maidstone, Kent, England.^3,4
     He fought in the Second World War in 1942, with the Malayan Defence Force at Singapore, and became a POW.¹

     Doris (?) married, secondly, Edward John Charles Currie, son of William John Frederick Currie and Minnie Euphemia Henrietta McMillan Catania, on 8 August 1935.¹
     Doris (?) usually went by her middle name of Melrose. From 8 August 1935, her married name became Currie.

     Marie Effie Georgie Currie was born on 9 February 1890.¹ She was the daughter of William John Frederick Currie and Minnie Euphemia Henrietta McMillan Catania.² She married Lt.-Col. Arthur Donovan Young in 1913.¹ She died in 1951.¹
     From 1913, her married name became Young.

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Donovan Young married Marie Effie Georgie Currie, daughter of William John Frederick Currie and Minnie Euphemia Henrietta McMillan Catania, in 1913.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.¹

     Edward Larkins Currie was born on 8 February 1854.¹ He was the son of William Close Currie and Harriet Gardiner Browne.² He married Mary Neal, daughter of James Neal, on 6 December 1919.¹ He died on 23 December 1942 at age 88.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹
