     He fought in the Boer War in 1900.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Ceylon Mounted Infantry.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1916.¹

     Ernest Alfred Northcote was born in 1875.¹ He was the son of Lewis Stafford Northcote and Isabella Mary Augusta Weguelin.² He married Sarah Munson, daughter of Colonel Gilbert Dwight Munson, in 1900.¹ He died in 1944.¹

     Colonel Gilbert Dwight Munson lived at Ohio, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Sarah Munson was the daughter of Colonel Gilbert Dwight Munson.² She married Ernest Alfred Northcote, son of Lewis Stafford Northcote and Isabella Mary Augusta Weguelin, in 1900.¹ She died in 1911.¹
     From 1900, her married name became Northcote.

     Oliver Stafford Northcote was born on 25 September 1906 at California, U.S.A.^1,2 He was the son of Ernest Alfred Northcote and Sarah Munson.³ He married Dorothy Lucille Hain, daughter of James Hain, in 1933.¹ He died on 16 February 1993 at age 86 at Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.²
     He graduated from Stanford University, Palo Alto, California, U.S.A.^G, in 1929 with a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.)¹ He graduated from Stanford University, Palo Alto, California, U.S.A.^G, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He was admitted to barrister of California in 1933.¹ He was a member of the legal firm Chandler, Wright, Tyler and Ward at Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Dorothy Lucille Hain is the daughter of James Hain.² She married Oliver Stafford Northcote, son of Ernest Alfred Northcote and Sarah Munson, in 1933.¹
     From 1933, her married name became Northcote. She lived in 2003 at 839 West orange Grove Avenue, Arcadia, California, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Philip Stafford Northcote was born in 1937.¹ He is the son of Oliver Stafford Northcote and Dorothy Lucille Hain.² He married unknown Reichert, daughter of Henry Reichert, in 1966.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 2192 Raquet Hill, Santa Ana, California, U.S.A.^G.¹
