     George Leigh was the son of George Leigh and Elizabeth Hindley.1 He married, secondly, Katherine Percival, daughter of Richard Percival.1 He married, firstly, Mary Fildes on 26 November 1694.1,2 He died in 1742.1
     In 1729 he inherited the Oughtrington property from his brother, John.1
