Sir George de la Poer Beresford was born on 21 July 1885.² He was the son of Henry Tristram de la Poer Beresford and Louisa Margaret Coventry.² He married Margaret Ethel Granville Thynne, daughter of Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne and Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall, on 15 November 1916.¹ He died on 29 September 1964 at age 79.³
     He fought in the First World War.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Nile 3rd Class.² He gained the rank of Temporary Brigadier and Brigade Commander in 1935.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1938.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in 1938 in the Indian Army.¹ He was Deputy Adjutant and Quartermaster-General of the Northern Command, India between 1938 and 1940.² He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1942, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He was District Commander of the Northern Command, India in 1940.² He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1949.²

     Margaret Ethel Granville Thynne was born on 9 October 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne and Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Sir George de la Poer Beresford, son of Henry Tristram de la Poer Beresford and Louisa Margaret Coventry, on 15 November 1916.¹ She died on 30 December 1963 at age 80.¹
     Her married name became Beresford.

     Benedict Henry de la Poer Beresford was born on 2 September 1917.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir George de la Poer Beresford and Margaret Ethel Granville Thynne.¹ He married Dorothy Kate Cooper, daughter of George Cooper, in 1949.¹ He died on 7 April 1997 at age 79.¹
     He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Armoured Corps.¹

     Dorothy Kate Cooper is the daughter of George Cooper.¹ She married Benedict Henry de la Poer Beresford, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir George de la Poer Beresford and Margaret Ethel Granville Thynne, in 1949.¹
     Her married name became Beresford. She lived in 2003 at 36 Cole Park Road, Twickenham, London, England^G.¹

     George Cooper lived at Hillcrest, Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Stephen Marcus de la Poer Beresford was born on 18 December 1920.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir George de la Poer Beresford and Margaret Ethel Granville Thynne.¹ He married Susan Wendy Dearbergh, daughter of Major Tom Lees Dearbergh, in 1952.¹ He died in 1982.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Susan Wendy Dearbergh is the daughter of Major Tom Lees Dearbergh.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. Stephen Marcus de la Poer Beresford, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir George de la Poer Beresford and Margaret Ethel Granville Thynne, in 1952.¹
     Her married name became Beresford.
