     Bathsheba Buhay also went by the nick-name of Bessie.¹ From 1 January 1913, her married name became Nightingale.

     Michael David Nightingale was born on 6 December 1927.¹ He was the son of Victor Russell John Nightingale of Cromarty and Bathsheba Buhay.² He married Hilary Marion Olwen Jones, daughter of John Eric Jones and Doris Mary Oakley Griffiths, on 28 April 1956.¹ He died in 1998.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Wye College, London University, London, England^G, in 1948 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1952 with a Bachelor of Literature (B.Litt.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1960.¹

     John Eric Jones married Doris Mary Oakley Griffiths.¹ He died in 1933.¹

     Hilary Marion Olwen Jones is the daughter of John Eric Jones and Doris Mary Oakley Griffiths.^2,1 She married Michael David Nightingale, son of Victor Russell John Nightingale of Cromarty and Bathsheba Buhay, on 28 April 1956.¹
     She graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ From 28 April 1956, her married name became Nightingale.

     John Bartholomew Wakelyn Nightingale of Cromarty was born on 7 September 1960.¹ He is the son of Michael David Nightingale and Hilary Marion Olwen Jones.² He married Lucy Charlotte Fergusson, daughter of Dr. Patrick Drummond Fergusson and Alison Mary Miles, on 24 December 1996.¹
