     Ruth Irwin Crossley was born on 17 September 1909.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. and Florence Josephine Field.² She married, firstly, Brigadier James Michael Stewart Wardell, son of Harold Piper Wardell, on 1 July 1931.¹ She and Brigadier James Michael Stewart Wardell were divorced in 1938.¹ She married, secondly, Lieutenant Konstanty Scheunert on 9 November 1944.¹
     From 1 July 1931, her married name became Wardell.¹ From 9 November 1944, her married name became Scheunert.¹

     Brigadier James Michael Stewart Wardell is the son of Harold Piper Wardell.¹ He married, firstly, Hilda Susan Ellen Cooper, daughter of Sir Daniel Cooper, 2nd Bt. and Harriet Grant-Suttie, on 30 April 1918.² He married, secondly, Ruth Irwin Crossley, daughter of Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. and Florence Josephine Field, on 1 July 1931.¹ He and Ruth Irwin Crossley were divorced in 1938.¹ He and Hilda Susan Ellen Cooper were divorced in 1929.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.²

     Catherine Pamela Field Crossley was born on 30 December 1913.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. and Florence Josephine Field.² She married, firstly, W/Cdr. Donald Geoffrey Simmons, son of Arthur Thomas Simmons, on 2 September 1944.¹ She married, secondly, Rev. Canon Frank Hay Gillingham, son of J. Gillingham, on 21 July 1950.²
     From 2 September 1944, her married name became Simmons. From 21 July 1950, her married name became Gillingham.²

     Arthur Thomas Simmons lived at Parkstone, Dorset, England^G.¹

     W/Cdr. Donald Geoffrey Simmons was the son of Arthur Thomas Simmons.² He married Catherine Pamela Field Crossley, daughter of Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. and Florence Josephine Field, on 2 September 1944.¹ He died in March 1945 at Middle East^G, killed in an aircraft accident.¹
     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Enoch Shenton lived at Boxmoor, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Joyce Shenton was the daughter of Enoch Shenton.² She married Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William John Crossley, 1st Bt. and Mabel Gordon Anderson, on 16 December 1954.¹ She died on 29 July 2005.¹
     From 16 December 1954, her married name became Crossley.¹

     Carolyne Louise Sykes was born on 2 March 1939 at London, England.² She was the daughter of Leslie Grey Sykes and Lois Walker.^3,2 She married, firstly, Sir Christopher John Crossley, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Cdr. Nigel John Crossley and Iris Barter, on 28 November 1959.¹ She and Sir Christopher John Crossley, 3rd Bt. were divorced in 1969.¹ She married, secondly, Andrew Murray on 21 January 1970 at London, England.² She died on 12 December 2009 at age 70 at Rancho Mirage, California, U.S.A.²
     From 28 November 1959, her married name became Crossley. From 21 January 1970, her married name became Murray.²

     Sir Nicholas John Crossley, 4th Bt. was born on 10 December 1962.¹ He was the son of Sir Christopher John Crossley, 3rd Bt. and Carolyne Louise Sykes.² He died on 13 April 2000 at age 37, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Crossley, of Glenfield, Dunham Massey, co. Chester [U.K., 1909] in 1989.¹
