     Riversdale Sampson French was the son of Venerable Thomas Fitzgerald French and Harriet Selina Molony.2 He married Lilian Elizabeth Crofton, daughter of Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton and Henrietta Townsend, on 5 August 1908.1 He died on 13 November 1932.
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1

Major James Cazalet Crofton1

     Major James Cazalet Crofton was born on 24 January 1847.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry William Crofton and Marianne Amelia Cazalet.2 He married, firstly, Henrietta Anne Edwards, daughter of John Edwards, on 16 August 1868.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Maria Edwards, daughter of John Edwards, in 1876.1 He died on 3 July 1894 at age 47.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, East Surrey Regiment.1 He lived at Broomfield, County Wicklow, IrelandG.1

     Charlotte Maria Edwards was born in 1837.2 She was the daughter of John Edwards.2 She married, firstly, Captain Thomas Carter Richardson Carpendale, son of Maxwell Carpendale, on 16 May 1860 at Wicklow, County Wicklow, Ireland.1,2 She married, secondly, Major James Cazalet Crofton, son of Reverend Henry William Crofton and Marianne Amelia Cazalet, in 1876.1 She died on 4 July 1894.1
     From 16 May 1860, her married name became Carpendale.1 From 1876, her married name became Crofton.
