Sir Malby Crofton, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 December 1797.2 He was the son of Sir James Crofton, 1st Bt. and Marion Lyster.2 He married Sarah Jane Parke, daughter of Andrew Parke, on 24 January 1821.2 He died on 15 December 1872 at age 74.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Crofton, of Longford House, co. Sligo [U.K., 1838] in 1849.2
