     Charles Hubbard was born at Barre, Worcester County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ He married Mary Reed Crawford, daughter of Laureston Faulkner Crawford and Caroline R. Cummings, on 23 April 1850.¹

     Joseph Crawford was born on 4 June 1830.¹ He was the son of Laureston Faulkner Crawford and Caroline R. Cummings.¹

     Eliza Fay married Algernon Sidney Butler, son of James Crawford and Molly Butler.¹
     Her married name became Crawford.¹

     Thomas Jefferson was born in 1679/80. He died circa 1731.

     James Madison was born on 16 March 1751 at Port Conway, King George County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. He was the son of James Madison and Eleanor Rose Conway. He married Dorothea Payne, daughter of unknown Payne, on 15 September 1794 at Harewood, Charles Town, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. He died on 28 June 1836 at age 85 at Montpelier, Orange County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. He was buried at Montpelier, Orange County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.
     Was elected in 1808 by 122 to 47 electoral votes over Charles Pinckney. Was
reelected in 1812 by 128 to 89 electoral votes over De Witt Clinton. During
his first term 1809-1812 George Clinton served as vice-president; during his
second 1813-1814 Elbridge Gerry. From 1814 to 1817 the speaker of the House
of Representatives served as vice-president. He held the office of President of the United States of America in 1808.

     Dorothea Payne was born on 20 May 1768 at Guilford County, North Carolina, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of unknown Payne.¹ She married James Madison, son of James Madison and Eleanor Rose Conway, on 15 September 1794 at Harewood, Charles Town, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. She died on 12 July 1849 at age 81 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.^G. She was buried at Montpelier, Orange County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.
     She was also known as Dolley Payne.¹ From 15 September 1794, her married name became Madison.
