     Salmon Crawford Packard was born on 13 November 1815 at Oakham, Worcester County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Packard and Susan Willis Crawford.¹ He died on 24 March 1930 at age 114 at Oakham, Worcester County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹

     William McKinley was born on 29 January 1843 at Niles, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. He was the son of William McKinley and Nancy Campbell Allison. He married Ida Saxton on 25 January 1871 at 1st Presbyterian Church, Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. He died on 14 September 1901 at age 58 at Buffalo, Erie County, New York, U.S.A.^G. He was buried at Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G.
     He was US President No. 25. Won the 1896 and 1900 elections over William J. Bryan by popular votes of
7,102,246 to 6,492,559 and 7,218,491 to 6,356,734 and electoral votes of 271
to 176 and 292 to 155. Shortly after his second inauguration, he was assassi-
nated by Czolgosz. During his first term Garret A. Hobart served as his vice-
president, during his second his successor Theodor Roosevelt.

     Ida Saxton was born on 8 June 1847 at Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. She married William McKinley, son of William McKinley and Nancy Campbell Allison, on 25 January 1871 at 1st Presbyterian Church, Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. She died on 26 May 1907 at age 59 at Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. She was buried at Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G.
     Fragile and petite, she was a cashier in her father’s bank when she met
McKinley, thus making her the first career woman to become First Lady.
Because she was nearly an invalid, Mrs. Garret A. Hobart, wife of the vice-
president, performed many of the duties in the White House as ‘Second Lady’. Her married name became McKinley.

     Katherine McKinley was born on 25 December 1871 at Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of William McKinley and Ida Saxton. She died on 25 June 1876 at age 4 at Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G.

     Ida McKinley was born between 1 April 1872 and 1873 at Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of William McKinley and Ida Saxton. She died on 22 August 1873 at Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G.

     William McKinley was born in 1807. He died in 1892.

     Nancy Campbell Allison was born in 1809. She died in 1897.

     David Allison McKinley was born in 1829. He was the son of William McKinley and Nancy Campbell Allison. He died in 1892.
