     Her married name became Livingstone.¹

     Alexander Livingstone is the son of Thomas Livingstone and Agnes Menteith.

     Agnes Livingstone is the daughter of Alexander Livingstone and Marion Bryson. She married Reverend William Livingston, son of Reverend Alexander Livingston and Barbara Livingston, on 6 January 1601 at Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland.¹

     Reverend William Livingston was born in 1576 at Kilsyth Castle, Kilsyth, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Reverend Alexander Livingston and Barbara Livingston.¹ He married Agnes Livingstone, daughter of Alexander Livingstone and Marion Bryson, on 6 January 1601 at Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland.¹ He died before October 1641 at Lanark, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

     Reverend John Livingston was born on 21 June 1603 at Monyabroch, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Livingston and Agnes Livingstone. He married Janet Fleming, daughter of Bartholomew Fleming and Marion Hamilton, on 13 June 1635 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He died in August 1672 at age 69 at Rotterdam, The Netherlands.¹
     In 1663 he was banished from Scotland for his non-Conformist views.¹

     Janet Fleming was born in 1613.¹ She was the daughter of Bartholomew Fleming and Marion Hamilton.¹ She married Reverend John Livingston, son of Reverend William Livingston and Agnes Livingstone, on 13 June 1635 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ She died in February 1690/91 at Rotterdam, The Netherlands.¹
     From 13 June 1635, her married name became Livingston.¹

     Robert Livingston was born on 13 December 1654 at Ancrum, Roxburghshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Livingston and Janet Fleming. He married Alida Schuyler, daughter of Philip Pieterse Schuyler and Margaretha van Slichtenhorst, on 9 July 1679 at Albany, Albany County, New York, U.S.A.¹ He died on 20 April 1725 at age 70 at Albany, Albany County, New York, U.S.A.¹
     He emigrated to U.S.A. arriving on December 1673.¹

     Alida Schuyler was born on 28 February 1656.¹ She was the daughter of Philip Pieterse Schuyler and Margaretha van Slichtenhorst. She married, firstly, Reverend Nicholas van Rensselaer on 10 February 1675.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Livingston, son of Reverend John Livingston and Janet Fleming, on 9 July 1679 at Albany, Albany County, New York, U.S.A.¹ She died on 27 May 1729 at age 73.¹
     From 10 February 1675, her married name became van Rensselaer.¹ From 9 July 1679, her married name became Livingston.¹
